(As the Washington adage goes: the coverup is always worse then the crime. My impression is the the President should be grateful that the perceived excesses of the Clinton-era Special Prosecutor occasioned a bi-partisan will in Congress to NOT renew the Special Prosecutor authorizing legislation. Were the law still in effect, it is possible that several S.P. investigations would have been launched by now....)
