wonder why they are not doing piggy back on rail? have to assume price? or performance or not available. I do not believe we should have to dump fed dollars into amtrac. sell it off to a private concern or close it. Maybe we have to raise a road tax on trucks to build a truck lane for them in the future. what i don't like are these truckers running over their allowed trip time. keeping two sets of books. falling asleep at the wheel or on uppers to stay awake. plus how many of these guys are driving with fake licenses.
