"One of the London bombers was married, with a young child and another on the way. I can understand, but never accept, suicide bombing in Iraq or Israel as part of a nationalist struggle. But when a British Muslim citizen, nurtured by that society, just indiscriminately blows up his neighbors and leaves behind a baby and pregnant wife, to me he has to be in the grip of a dangerous cult or preacher - dangerous to his faith community and to the world."

The most likely answer as to why certain Muslims behave the way they do is identified in the article.........because they come into contact with a cult or errant preacher. Because religion is given more prominence in their culture, fundamentalist cults and preachers have greater influence over the average Muslim. Unlike this country, the errant preacher.....the Falwell or Robertson Muslim equivalent....is not forced to apologize for his inflammatory remarks. Fundamentalist religion is a dangerous catalyst in any society.........its why I fear its upsurge in recent years here in the US.

But to condemn all Muslims or suggest there is something endemic to them that makes them want to kill is BS.
