Rove is guilty. Of outing Plame and being dishonest. Exactly what charges though we don't know.

Nobody knows what Rove testified to except those present with the secret grand jury, or what anyone else testified to.

Right now the WH is leaking a few details they can spin in a positive way to try and throw cold water on this story. Ken Mehlman is a serial liar not to be believed. His tits are in a wringer too on this. Rove is his boss. if Rove goes down so does Mehlman. They may even be gay lovers.

Rove and Bushies have been stonewalling the investigation for two years and now refuse to talk to the press. They are doing this as part of a cover-up attempt just like Nixon did in the early days of Watergate. Part of that strategy is to smear the Wilsons, with total lies too, most of it.

Rove is guilty just from mentioning "Wilson's wife" working at the CIA to a reporter. That alone proves his guilt. He also told Matthews that Plame was "fair game" proving his malicious motive. Also, the fact that he lied to the press about this in the past, had McClellan lie that Rove had nothing to do with it and refused to clear this up two years ago when he had the chance. If he'd been innocent he would have spoken up. Instead he covered up. The cover-up is always worse than the crime. It proves dishonesty.

The Special Prosecutor has a stack of indictments, Cooper's lawyer says. A stack. Rove may be one of them. If he isn't the others probably work for Rove so he's guilty anyway.
