Speaking of harm to consumers... Remember the 1Million CPUs that AMD said that they would give to HP in order to get into HP's lineup... Isn't it a no brainer to assume that 1 Million consumers who bought Intel systems were injured as a result? (Unless Intel also gave HP 1 Million processors.) Wouldn't it make sense to assume that HP could have sold the AMD systems for less money than the Intel systems that ultimately got sold???
