Japan does not have the growth in population and excess land to develop and continue growing that the USA has. Supposedly LACK of excess land is what is driving prices in CA and FL. Thus that argument has been blown to bits. As for immigration and population growth, I agree. OTOH, the average person in Japan dod not have the debt we have. All in all the deflation in the US is likely to be worse. Mish
