She was some gal. The isolation of her genius drove her around the bend (I think). I would have loved to have talked to her. She was more brilliant than a thousand comets. Most of what she said and wrote was insightful and truthful.

In spite of her faults..I cannot but love her. Her books reflect her heart. She never did drop that shield from WE THE LIVING--that protected "something so precious".

She faced the enemy all alone. She wrote in a new language about a new concept. She was a brilliant mind. She was a unique human--a shaft of star-light penetrating the mist...
