Dan after checking my notes you are right about one thing, OAKT's DVD-Browser only supports MPEG1 and not MPEG2. The ZRAN solution supports MPEG2. That is why Compaq selected ZRAN. They both have navigational functionality. Don't be misled by OAKT's DVD-Browser name. It supports AC3 sound and came to market earlier than ZRAN. However, why only MPEG1 support? It makes no sense. Only the China and Asian markets are interested in MPEG1 products. Perhaps OAKT is selling this software there. However, I have one suggestion for OAKT "make your DVD-Browser MPEG2 compatible"!
