I don't think that explicitly forcing any company to use AMD would be the right thing to do. If Intel is setting up rebates such that it's too expensive for any tier-1 to use AMD in a substantial way, then removal of this (and like) behavior would be enough to let product merit be the deciding factor in whether AMD gets used or not. fpg
