If it makes you feel any better, as I grow older I am a bit less thrilled about the Democratic approach to government. Great, we pay taxes to the federal government that are used to fuel the greatest war machine the world has ever known and great death and desrtuction around the world. Not what I really want my money spent on. I do like the fact that the Dems have tried to introduce national healthcare and family medical leave and that sort of thing, but their taxes go to fuel the war machine that the Republicans are all too happy to fund and run for big business. Starve the federal govt. and perhaps we'll have less war.
