How does that relate to the ongoing slaughter of fellow Muslims? Assuming the 2004 bin Laden tapes are authentic, he says that the mujahideen are attempting to unite the nation in justice and destroy evil, that is, the Americans and the infidel Allawi government. My guess is that if ordinary Iraqis avoided being anywhere near occupation forces or Iraqi government buildings or employees, they'd be safe from Al Qaeda, not that Al Qaeda is the only danger in Iraq. To put it in perspective, there are no suicide bombers in Iran.
