The rise in volume has all been Nasdaq. The TSE volume has been trying to play catch up.

If the volume was due to any significant news, the TSE volume would be outpacing Nasdaq, as it always does.

I still think it has alot to do with the SPA Conference and Cowpland's keynote in Washington DC. The other factor is that the earnings date is approaching.

If anyone has any doubts about third quarter results, they should take advantage of the price/volume situation within the next 2 weeks.

A bit of history on Corel since the WP aquisition -- the stock has always strenghened approaching earnings. May'be this time, the stock will pick up momentum and break through resistance levels with better than expected earnings on the 24th.

Perhaps the TA's can tell us if we have gone through the 200 day moving average yet. Could be another reason for the interest as of late.
