FWIW, Carolyn, I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L15-S104 at Best Buy...it's the low end Toshiba notebook with wireless G integrated. Cost about 550 bucks, comes with 256 MB RAM and about 40 gigs hard drive and has worked beautifully (it has an AMD processor, I can't address the Centrino issue).
