Eureka and Mendocino get lots of rain. Alligators and great white sharks on the golf courses; sometimes even at the same time. Sharks win 90% of the time. 20 miles inland, rain is more, but no water critters; bears, once in a while cougars on the greens.. Who would want to live there?
