That, of course, would mean that I was correct... the statement by President Bush at his public questioning period with the Indian Prime Minister represented a *change*, a *modification* of the previous policy that had been ennunciated by the White House.

For, if WH Press Secretaries don't announce and ennunciate official WH policies anymore... then we might as well save everyone's time, end the farce, and *cancel* all WH press conferences --- OR ELSE --- have the President conduct them directly! :)
