Rove warned Cooper about taking Wilson's op ed in the NYT seriously. That is all. Cooper called Rove. Rove didn't call Cooper. Cooper got the Plame info from a Wilson/Plame neighbor who freely admit that everybody in the neighborhood knew she worked for the CIA. How's Rove going to know everybody who works for the CIA. Rove didn't need to out Plame to make a fool of Wilson. Wilson made a fool of himself with his own big yap and having to retract statements he made.
