Yes, they are just trying to survive. Agree with you. My daughter lives in the country and they have had problems with them attacking horses as well as cows. If the neighbors see one on their property they kill it and hang its carcass on the fence so everyone can see to look out for their own pastures. We have four donkeys on the land and they are known for running off coyotes. Found it to be a good investment.
