Post-bubble stories won't be sexy enough to cover until there is blood flowing, i.e. the stories about middle-class "investors" who bought 3 properties with IO mortgages, can't rent them for enough for cover even those payments and find themselves $200K underwater in equity terms.

When those players start walking away from their properties and inventories shoot up - assuming all that happens - it will be a dandy story for the Sunday edition.

Of course, if you are one of the losers, it's way too late to do anything by then except hope you can hold on until your submarine becomes a yacht again.
