I don't even know what the "Democratic talking points" are at the moment, so I can't see how I can be aligned with anything. If those are their "talking points" then they're right on. I agree, Karl Rove deserves his day in court like any other American. My concern is that he is prosecuted like any other American would be, out of fairness, and not escape the law due to his lofty position in our society. If a President did what Rove is accussed of doing, it could certainly be considered an impeachable offense, as it would comprimise his office and potentially cause great damage to our country and put Americans in harms way (kind of like lying to get us into a war in Iraq). Unfortunately, the whole concept of what deserves impeachment was skewed in the 1990s when the Republicans went on a personal crusade against a President who lied about his sex life.
