Ashley, as usual, when one is present at an event described by a reporter from the media, one realizes that the media are not to be trusted because they get it wrong. They get broad facts correct, more or less, but all sorts of details are awry.
My recollection of the conversation was that you and I were discussing the lack of reproduction in humans and so on and Melissa and Alison came home. As they walked in, I called down the hall, to Melissa, "When are you having a baby?"
She walked down the hall, introduced herself to you and asked me about the baby bribery money I've previously wondered about donating by way of incentive. Then told me it would be June. Hmmm, now that I think of it, maybe that's not exactly how she put it because recall a gradual dawning over a second or so that she was telling me was pregnant and well into it.
We obviously need to have cyberspace aka It present at all times so that the facts of events are established undoubtedly and can be reviewed any time and people can see events for themselves later.
It's nice to share experiences Ashley, so thanks for being there! Okay, some experiences are best kept private, but you know what I mean.
Meanwhile, in Dublin I was pleased to see a Sharp W-CDMA aka 3GSM phone with a QUALCOMM sticker on it and it was the best phone there with a high price [though reasonable price].
My old fear of phones becoming $40 devices seems wrong. As with computers, they are tending to be in the $200 to $800 range and just keep getting better. Meaning people will keep upgrading.
A billion people in Europe will be buying them from what I saw. It'll take a few years to make the transition, but it's undoubtedly underway.
