Re: Intel has gone commando to hold MSS in a historic range

With "commando" meaing they aren't wearing their legal "shorts."

Intel marketing has been so outside the limit since Athlon it's going to be something of a jaw dropper for the Judge and Jury. The antit-trust equivalent of keeping legs in the fridge for afternoon snacks.

Intel corporate simply went insane (from a marketing-legal perspective) when AMD started creaming them in performance after Intel wrote AMD off in 1999 (and underinvested in FABs).

Amazing to note that, despite years of time and 20X the R&D resources of their competitor, Intel still can't get a production SOI process into the field.

No wonder why they went nuts!
