That is more or less true. The Republican view of mankind's existence is that he/she exists to serve capital, whether their countrymen's lives are damaged or lost in that service to capital is irrelevant in their worldview. This is demonstrated by such things as their opposition to universal health care, even when studies back in the early 1990s showed that the cheapest option under consideration was the single payer healthcare system. So, why not go with the cheapest route, eliminating the profit motive and redundant buracracy that drives up health care costs? Because that does not serve the interests of capital. That is not the most profitable route (service to capital), even if it would provide greater access to healthcare and save lives.

This worldview is also demonstrated by their warmongering. To hell with whoever gets maimed or killed, or even if it's a rational foreign policy, it's all done in the service of the interests of capital. Does a Republican really care if I get killed in Iraq serving oil capital? No.

This is exactly the reason I have problems with our system. I think more emphasis should be put on human needs, not the needs of capital. In such a society there would be better quality of life and less war. Canada is an example of just such a society.
