We looked at Hamilton too. It's a lovely town, not to mention that it's in one of the loveliest places on earth. It was designed by Marcus Daly, one of the copper kings, to have wide streets and a logical layout.

Now yuppies have settled in Hamilton, judging from reports from my siblings who live in Missoula. Highway 93 has become a traffic jam headed north in the morning and headed south in the evening.

Not that I blame them, but I wish they had stayed in California.

I kick myself every once in a while for not going for that 80 acres for $12,000 that I looked at when I graduated from college. I didn't take it because my first job was back east.
