so you argument against hitchen's piece is that he showed a high level of passion? because your "likely connection" is demonstrably false there were many, many islamic attacks against westerners before the current war in iraq..bin laden's al quaeda starting in 1998, notably the u.s. and it's allies windsofchange.net and let's see.. the common denominator of those attacks is??? apparently some on this thread believe they can assign their own definitions to words, but surely we aren't going to start creating our own personal calendars as well <vbg> putting aside your emotional reaction to hitchens' rather passionate piece then, did you see anything along the lines of islamic 'grievances' which he listed that would ever justify the random killing of innocents? van gogh had it coming? he perpetuated a grievance?
