Have we jumped ahead again? It appears we are discussing reasons and methods for limiting birth. Is that because we have given up on rationalizing the state and natural quality that identifies one as 'human being totus'.

I find the original discussion pointless, if our a priori filter is limiting birth for practical benefits.
