If I understand you correctly Republicans put the standard too high when they set it at being convicted (Rove). If I understand you Republicans are putting the standard too low when they set it at being convicted (Clinton). Hmmm. Something is out of balance here...

Let the process work. If Karl Rove is guilty of a crime, the independent prosecutor will either determine that and charge him, or determine there is insufficient evidence.

Lefties were shouting in the aisles (after the last administration's special prosucter stated that there was insufficient evidence to convict Hillary) that Hillary had been cleared of all charges. Something was out of balance there too.

Don't forget the many un-prosecuted skeletons in the Clintons' closet: TravelGate; CastleGrande; Madison Guarantee; the IRS tax fraud over non-reporting $50,000 of income; HillaryCare TaskforceGate; Vince Foster's being moved to a park after his death; the Rose Law Firm billing records turning up after Vince's timely demise; Buddhist Monk illegal campaign contributions; giving the Chinese out nuclear secrets; John Huong; Bill's other sexual crimes; et cetera.

Should Bill have kicked Hillary out of the Whitehouse when the independent council said she was guilty as heck, but did a great job of covering up? Should President Bush have a different standard? I would argue that he has set a much higher standard of conduct.
