Uh oh, you brought back memories of living in rental apartments, which some people on this thread seem to think is a GOOD thing as opposed to ownership.....<<gg>>

I'm not sure any of the apartments I lived in (in Arlington, VA) waited until May 15 to turn on the AC, but it got darn hot in those places early in the season, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Management policy was management policy--no exceptions!)
