I heard there was a publicity stunt on how hot it is in Phoenix these days. It took only 8 seconds to melt a scoop of ice cream on the pavement downtown midafternoon. Booming and bubbily Vegas was only a couple of degrees lower if folks want to escape. But wait in bubble markets down here in Florida it's only in the low to mid 90's but we also deal with the never ending humidity to rival any place on earth into early November as well as our new privileged status as hurricane alley that IMHO trumps all these other minor negatives of our high cost sunbelt lifestyle. There is even a SI board dedicated to it<g>
