For website owners.

A couple of years ago I built my own webpage and seeing how I wasn't rich I looked for the cheapest host I could find.
I finally settled on this company.
thebest-host.com

Lots of problems but here is my question. About three weeks ago my website went down and if you click on the link above you will see that it doesn't work either. I am pretty sure this host is in another country. From day one there was never a phone number to call and only an email address. All the emails I have sent the passed month have bounced back.
Now they have gone down before but usually for about 3 days or maybe a week. It has been about a month now.

To say I am nervous is an understatement. I have countless hours of work on my website. I simply can't afford at this time to get another host.

Also, isn't all of my website data stored on their servers? I mean if I do get another host will I have to start from scratch having lost everything?

Also, is there a way to tell if this host is simply down or out of business? I would think they would sell all of their current clients contracts before they simply went under.

Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
