Since the Cooper phone conversation occurred several hours AFTER Novak's syndicated column was released to the AP, how can Rove be the source of the leaks, especially through Cooper. In fact Novak stated on July 8th of 2003 that he told Rove, not the other way around...and Rove didn't say anything to Cooper until AFTER the information was publicly released. Public information is never considered classified.
