Sean,

Do you know if it is a problem in using sdram combined with edo ram?
I have 32 megs of edo 60ns on my system right now and I'd like to get more ram for it; although I don't plan to keep the system that long that's why I want to throw in a sdram dimm(so I can take it along when I sell my computer and leave the edo in there). I realize that I probably wont get the speed of the sdram when combined with the edo dram, but I'd just like to make sure I can do that combo. I have 4 simm slots and 1 dimm slot. I plan to put a 32 meg sdram 10ns dimm in, not sure which company to go with? I have my cpu overclocked so as long as the sdram can stand up to O.C. I don't think NEC chips can handle that.

about the cheapest I saw so far was $124 for a 32meg 10ns dimm(not sure which brand)

any suggestions?
