why is it that base ball players wear these incredibly hot (looking at least) uniforms, long sleeve, long pants because they are playing a pseudo-sport/aka "game" with only one player (the pitcher) doing anything approaching real exercise, and can thus follow tradition. if you look at real sports like soccer, people do not dress like this, because they are engaged in this activity called exercise which is unfamiliar to the baseball world. baseball players hardly burn any more calories than the people watching in the stands. unlike soccer players. that's the difference between a game and a sport.
