I've made no representations regarding the intelligence of Texans. Quite the contrary. This may be the dumbest, most poorly educated, jingoistic bunch of yahoos assembled in one place in the U.S. Which is why I disagree with John V about a mass exodus into Houston and Dallas RE. Once the California/NY set spends a little time here, they'll be looking for the exit in record time. This place has nothing whatsoever to recommend it. Austin's okay though.
