Not sure if it was you that mentioned fishing L. Simcoe a couple of weeks ago - but if that is where you are headed you might find the smallmouth bass have abandoned their usual haunts due to the unusual surface water temps. Try 10-20 ft. deeper (around 20 C.) during day times. Strawberry Island area is good if you are in north end of Lake. Good fishing. John
