" ....the people that don't vote don't want democracy, they want to be left alone. That is the majority. So, you are saying that people don't want to take an active role in changing or influencing the outcome of elections. Most people are happy to continue the status quo. That does not confirm your hypothesis that they don't want democracy. Their choice in government is to let the current process take its course and to live with the consequences.
