"Neither you nor I can act as proxy for the absence of a self interest in the zygote or fetus because we would be violating the fundamental rights of the woman. "

There is a current case where Mrs. Torez has gone into a coma as a result of Cancer. She has now been pronounced brain dead. At the time of her coma she was fifteen weeks pregnant. The Doctors expect to deliver the baby prematurely in 1 1/2 to 3 weeks.

I heard about the case on the radio and haven't been able to find an article yet.

Would you support disconnecting Mrs. Torez at this point and not delivering the baby?
