Sorry, I just now saw you message. So you got into CYTS-Cityscape Financial right. OK here's what I think: I'm not sure about a short term run up although the long term F/A looks promising. Just trading at like 4x while growing at 13%. An the recent heavy volume with the upward movement is definately a positive. A few caveats though: S & P just cut their rating on their rating-stable to negative. Thats not so good. Also while a move into the UK, in the long term will add to earnings because of the UK's recovery, short term, however its a negative. For US customers there was a like 7-8% deliquency rate, but in the UK this is like 18%-OUCH!! According to Zacks, estimates have been lowered by $ .30 for FY98 to $2.60 and FY97 by $ .12 to $2.30.
Oh yeah, one thing I do like is the upward movement even with the large amount of shorting. Something like 14-15%(almost 50% if you consider there are 8.4 mil shares floating) of the stock is being shorted. It seems the shorts who got in around $30 may be getting out.
I don't think I'll be jumping in but I'll be rooting for you.
