Hi Bob, Great post... only I disagree with you on one very small point... I don't think our expectations were that far off... the market hasn't performed recently as it has in the past... other than to keep going up. The sputter that occurred in August should have well developed into something big... but as they say... the market is never wrong... YOU ARE (not you Bob). So I think it is more than expectations that got out of hand... although that is much of the problem. But it is the reliance on traditional indicators and even newer ones with performance projections based on past history... which is totally invalid under the present reality. And you could put that back on the expectation that past is prologue... We'll see. Regards, Bill
