Abortion is a non-issue. The rightwing pretend it's so important, yet they are hypocrites. If they were really against abortion they'd back RU-486, a morning after pill with a 9.99999% success rate. No, what the rightwing fundamentalists really hate and fear is sexual freedom, sexual enjoyment and sexual education. Because it proves that sex is a natural thing not a "sin". In fact, very likely Jesus Christ was no virgin. And very likely the original Bible was not anti-sex or sexist before the early Christian patriarchs re-wrote it and censored it. Also on legal abortion, the alternative is clearly worse. Clinton and Kerry have it right. Make abortions rare but safe and legal. if we outlaw it, that's like outlawing alcohol. People will get them anyway, but it will be more dangerous. It will also be a major diss on women.
