(I think the most important metric here might be this one: Iraq Shi'a 60%-65%, Iran Shi'a 89%)

Of course, if the Sunni areas of Iraq fall away in a civil war, then the remaining Shi'a areas of Iraq might much more closely match the religious breakdown in Iran....
