When we go to Costco, we have to pick our time so we don't get caught in the traffic jam at the checkout. There is a continuous line of loaded carts going out the door almost all the time. People appreciate the no-frills environment there, I think.

Costco seems to have it down pat. My only complaint with them is that they bring in a great product, sell it long enough for you to get hooked on it, and then they don't have it any more.
