If its renquist it will be gonzales. I am told by some folks who are closer to the situation that the dems actually got a list of several possible appointees and were even allowed to veto one. Consensus conservative was roberts. Assuming Renquist leaves next, the second part of the deal is that Bush gets who he wants as CJ and that is Gonzales. And of course the dems will go along as they wanted him for this current spot. Time will tell if my source is correct.
