You removed the danger component completely. I think someone who uses force, knowing they will be in danger because of their use of force, is brave. If there is no danger, there is no bravery. That doesn't mean I "like" them, and that I can't criticize them (like bullies). Many people I find disgusting are brave, just as many people I find disgusting are handsome. That people who do bad things may have some qualities that are not per se bad, does not mean I have to change the definitions of words.

I don't consider bravery necessarily a good thing, so for me it's not really an issue that a terrorist might be brave.
