Surely we're at a nadir with downgrades, lowering of estimates for the next two years by MS, and LRCX near its 52 week high. I could agree that downgrades can reflect a bottom (analysts are mostly idiots), but not with the stock price so high. Doesn't a high stock price reflect optimism? Then why is revenue and EPS forecasted to be lower in FY06 than FY05?

Perhaps we'll have a 12 month nadir, and if that's the case, what's going to propel LRCX's shares higher in the short term? It can't seem to break out of its upper range, but has been a great trader from $26-$32 lately if one has been trading it. (I haven't)
