I agree with you on all this below. Our only disagreement would be in how to respond to the destruction of one or more US cities. If the Russians launched a nuke and took out Chicago - then said sorry - a rogue group of generals did this (wasn't this a plot in a recent movie a saw...hmmm) - don't you think we would still likely respond with the destruction of a similar Russian city? I think we would. That is the whole MAD strategy - and it is mad - but it does tend to work. Tit for tat response. Is it fair - probably not - just like it wouldn't be fair to destroy a US city - and then have no response. We are going into a very dangerous time in history here IMHO. It isn't going to be pretty if things get started. Let's hope they don't. >> Terrorism is the net result of occupation and oppression, both of which we openly support to our hearts content since it's in our "best interests". Let's face it. OIL is the biggest part of the equation.
