Before you go away, I'm curious about Qcom. I came back to check and god help us the sucker is going bazonkers. I'm a bit giddy since we have most of the tech portion of our portfolio there.

I read your "mixed bag" comment. After reading the press release on the quarterly report and the thread comments on the conference call, I can't genuinely see why it went up. We also have some money in Juniper, which reported the day before. On the face of it, it's quarterly report was much better. Yet it went down, sharply; Qcom went up, sharply. Expectations are the explanation, but they are definitely a mystery.

As for what bugs me about eagle scouts, it's a sort of family joke, one of my brothers is/was one. But I've never liked seriously square folk; always enjoyed the company of the slightly bent.

Why else type a note or two here?
