Most of that is reasonable. Partisans appear willing to spring on Karl Rove for the first thing they think they can tag him with. No information has circulated about him doing anything wrong other than this charge (that I have seen).

"I think it's only fair to talk about what Clinton was actually convicted of doing."

He got away with much worse. You have to look at the whole person. After all he appears to be a serial rapist. They cheated on the taxes. There were over 50 deaths of people who were getting inconvenient to them. He sold tickets to the Lincoln bedroom like a cheap souvenir shop. They stole over 900 FBI files of Republican politicians. And much more.

If you know a politician is selling crack to school kids and all you can prove is necrophilia, should the provable charge be given more political weight?

"Our foreign policy is riddled with blatant criminal behavior that is ignored for national security reasons, because running a foreign policy is not a pretty business."

Agreed. I think we should have foreign troops in whatever countries will pay for their costs. If Germany will not reimburse us for the cost of keeping troops there, then move them out and eventually sell the land. We could use the money.

How much do we pay every year in direct bribes? That should end right now.
