One thing for sure is that the US cannot say China manipulates its currency again. Since this whole system is the copycat/replicate of Singapore currency system, and the US has never ever blamed Singapore for currency manipulation.

Everything else is not the major issue here. If someone would like to think China surrendered to the US pressure, fine with me. The matter of the truth is, the move has been in Chinese gov. mind for more than a year, and it is in China's interest. If the US were not making so much noise like a talking robot, China would have done it long time ago.
