If no occupation plan worked, then no invasion. Kerry said that on Hardball before the war. His rationale was that it put our troops at maximum danger if you go into Iraq unprepared to win the peace. Kerry was 100% right. Bush-Cheney's people lambasted Kerry for those remarks. Said he was soft on terrorism. Lied, lied, lied.

Sad but true.
