Those who plan to oppose him to pull him down should keep in mind that the second time through Bush could bring in a candidate who could be more to the right of Roberts.. If that were to happen then that person would get in since the public is in no mood for the Senate to stand in the way every time. I think recent polls indicate that not only is the President's popularity low but that the numbers for Congress is even lower.

Besides, I would think that Schumer and Kennedy should be waiting for Karl Rove's head.
